As part of the European Fascist Movements Project, researchers at the universities of Liverpool and Chester have created a series of teaching resources for Key Stage 3 and GCSE students that looks at how fascists and far-right extremists organised in Europe during the 1920s and 1930s.
The materials are created to provide students with a historical context that lets them understand the riots across the UK in summer 2024, the increasing popularity of far-right parties in Europe and the sudden rise in antisemitism since the beginning of Israel’s invasion of Gaza in October 2023.
