Research: Find out who owns popular newspapers, websites and social media platforms and what their rules are about posting right-wing materials. How reliable are each of them as sources of information?
Inform others: Using the websites listed under Further Resources, create a poster, or a series of posters, on themes such as
- A timeline of the spread of fascism across Europe in the 1920s and 1930s
- Misleading ideas promoted by fascists
- Websites and publications that contain neo-Nazi and alt-right propaganda
- Anti-racist organizations in the UK
- Recent examples of right-wing violence in the UK
Write to your MP: Find out who your local MP is and write to them asking what steps they are taking to prevent the spread of far-right extremism in your local community.
